Kozarev Meets with Youth Delegation of Italy’s Forza Italia Party
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dušan Kozarev met today with a youth delegation from the Italian political party Forza Italia.
Kozarev highlighted the traditionally close ties between Serbia and Italy, characterised not only by strong political relations but also by fruitful economic cooperation.
He thanked Italy for its continued support and principled commitment to Serbia’s European perspective.
The discussions also addressed Serbia’s distinctive geopolitical position, which Kozarev described as a successful example of a balanced foreign policy. He conveyed Serbia’s firm and unified national position of non-recognition of Kosovo’s unilaterally declared independence, stressing that the authorities in Pristina under Albin Kurti have failed to reciprocate Serbia’s willingness to engage in dialogue, while further undermining the human rights of Serbs and other non-Albanian communities and threatening Christian heritage in Kosovo and Metohija.
Kozarev also briefed the delegation on Serbia’s economic progress, outlining the reforms, development projects and investment opportunities that have positioned the country as the region’s leading economy.
